How to Manage Multiple Dealership Rooftops

If your dealership is part of a wider group, you might be responsible for managing finance quotes and applications across multiple physical locations, which are often referred to as rooftops. The iVendi Platform is designed to keep these physical locations isolated for data protection, but allows authorised users to switch between them quickly.

This guide will show you how to request access to additional rooftops and how to switch between them in your daily showroom workflow.

Step 1: Request access to additional rooftops

For security and compliance reasons, you cannot add rooftops to your own user account directly.

If you require access to another dealership location, please contact iVendi Product Support to have them added. Email us at Support@iVendi.com and provide:

• Your login email address
• Your current dealership name
• The names of the additional rooftops you need access to

Once our support team has configured your permissions, those locations will immediately become available in your account.

Step 2: Open the dealership selector

Once our support team has added your physical locations, you can access them within the platform:

1. Log in to the iVendi Platform.
2. Look at the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Click on the Dealership dropdown menu.
4. This will display a list of all dealership rooftops your account is currently authorised to access.

Step 3: Switch to your required rooftop

Simply click on the rooftop location you want to work within. The platform will instantly reload and switch your view to that specific site. All the vehicle stock, finance quotes, leads, and active proposals will update to show only those belonging to that physical site.

💡 Best Practice: Check Your Rooftop First

When you have access to multiple rooftops, it is incredibly easy to accidentally update a vehicle or progress a customer's finance proposal under the wrong dealership location.

Before you make any changes, generate a quote, or submit an application, get into the habit of checking the top-right corner to confirm which rooftop is currently selected. If you need to change locations, it only takes two clicks to switch!

Rooftop Missing from Your List?

If you expect to have access to a specific physical location but it isn't appearing in your Dealership dropdown menu, our support team can get this sorted for you.

Please email Support@iVendi.com with the following details:

• Your Name
• Your login email address
• The rooftops you can currently see
• The exact name of the rooftop that is missing

With this information, we will verify your credentials, update your user profile, and get your multi-site view back on track.
