How do I set myself up for iVendi Pay?
This guide provides a step-by-step process for onboarding with Stripe via the iVendi platform to enable iVendi Pay.
What to have ready before starting
You will require some information about your business to complete the onboarding including the below:
-
Company legal name and company number
-
Business address and home address for each owner or director
-
Bank account details for payouts
-
VAT number if registered
-
Business website where vehicles are sold
-
A short product description of what you sell
-
A person of significant control (PSC) is available to complete or approve details
Do I need to complete all of the onboarding in one sitting?
No. If you are interrupted or find you do not have all of the information to hand then Stripe will save where you are up to.
Best Practice
-
Use the website you actually use to sell vehicles
- The more complete your information the faster verification will be
- Tax registrations only matter if you sell into other countries
- Optional items, such as, donations, are not required to use Stripe
- If your account owner changes, transfer ownership in Stripe before they leave
How to Onboard
What Happens Next?
Once the form has been completed, Stripe will verify your information. This is usually instant but can take up to three days.
In some instances, you may be asked for proof of address or proof of identity. Proof of address is uploaded via the Stripe onboarding flow whereas proof of identity is completed through a secure link.
